Bronze Star Medal--83rd Infantry Division KIA Named

Original WW2 Bronze Star Medal, complete set featuring slot brooch type medal, pinback service ribbon, and brass/enamel lapel button. All pieces are original WW2 production but came in the post-war plastic GI display case shown [possibly sent to next of kin following the war]. Pendant is stamped on back with original owner's name, who was assigned to the 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division, and was killed in Germany 02 March 1945.

No damage to medal pendant, ribbons, or lapel button. Case lid is damaged at lower left as can be seen but does not affect frontal appearance. Nice piece for any collector of named medals or 83rd Division items. Medal and accessories are in excellent condition, case is in good condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
