Presented is a Series 1928 New York District (2) $20.00 Federal Reserve Note (S/N B00085952A) that would grade About Uncirculated.  Although the note has tremendous paper “crackle” and appears to have the attributes of an uncirculated note, it has a light vertical center fold and a very light horizontal (teller’s) bend.  There also appears to be a red line remnant of a teller’s money band stamp that missed the band.  The most interesting thing about this note is that it appears to be the lowest serial number recorded for this series per the 9^th edition, SANDARD GUIDE TO SMALL-SIZE U.S. PAPER MONEY (Schwartz-Lindquist).  This is a high grade note that would be a very nice type note in a Federal Reserve Note collection.  Free Ground Advantage tracking mailing.  Payment must be received within 3 days of auction closing.  Thank you for viewing this item.
