This is an open box item. Everything appears new & clean. The retail box that stores the exhaust fan is in very good condition, but has a bit of sticker residue. This has been tested on both speeds and works great.
These portable cooking fans don’t necessarily remove all the smoke. Their purpose is to “clean up the smoke.” They filter out oil/grease and have a grease cup inserted to catch these oils. They also purify the smoke through the filters and exhaust much cleaner air. These are great for cooking in areas where you don’t have an overhead range hood/exhaust fan; RVs, campers, dorm rooms, some apartments and rooms in your home away from the stove.
