This is "Aerial Battle," an original, unique oil on canvas painting, depicting a contest between an osprey who has just caught a fish and a bald eagle who wants to steal it. As the two birds tumble and tussle in the sky, we look down on them, with rippling water in the background. It's a scene I used to see carried out in person over Florida lakes... Though I never had the bird's eye view of this painting!
