Vintage 1940s “Chase & Sanborn” Coffee
Advertising Tin Can! One Pound Key Opened!

Up for auction is a Vintage “Chase & Sanborn Coffee” Advertising Tin Can! This vintage tin can is for One Pound of Regular GrindChase & Sanborn” coffee. It is most likely from the late 1940s or early 1950s! The tin can features a limited time “4¢ Off Regular Price” promotion in the advertising graphics. This coffee was made by Standard Brands Incorporated in New York, NY. The coffee can measures about 5” diameter x 3⅜” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin can is in very good condition for its age with bright colors and sharp details. There is some surface oxidation, small marks, scuffs and scratches, and possibly a light dent or ding that you would expect for such old tin container. The interior and bottom are both clean with some surface oxidation and a little light rust as shown. The can is missing its dome top, and there is no key on its bottom anymore. This vintage Chase & Sanborn coffee advertising tin can would make a great addition to your collection!

Take a look at the photos to best judge its condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the vintage coffee can, pictures or shipping before bidding. Please pay within 3 days of auction end, and I'll ship the advertising tin ASAP, usually within 2 days of payment received.

Thank you for your business! Every item I sell is guaranteed to be as described, and I do everything possible to provide 5 STAR service. If you are satisfied, please leave 5 Star positive feedback. If you are not fully pleased, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the transaction before leaving any feedback. Almost all items are vintage: they were purchased at estate sales/auctions, yard/garage sales or flea markets, and are sold “as found”; the history of previous ownership and storage conditions of the items is unknown, and I have no idea if a previous owner smoked or had pets. I do not accept returned items simply because you’ve changed your mind. Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable. Attention International Customers: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” since US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
