This lovely antique beaded purse was likely made in the late 1800s and is still in very good condition.  It is large for its age measuring 9" tall including the fringe and 6 1/2" across at the widest.  All of the outside beading is iridescent, which makes it really catch the light nicely.  There are no missing beads that I can see.  The ornate brass frame in encrusted with 6 glass cabochons and a central pink rectangular crystal.

One of the turquoise cabochons has a chip, but all others are in fine shape.  Also, there are two areas that need a few stitches - one is at the top right side and the other is at the right elbow.  The pink silk lining may have been replaced at some time or may be original and in great shape.  There is one interior side pocket.  The purse snaps as it should but the frame has a small gap when it's closed, as if the frame has been slightly torqued, not noticeable as it's being carried, but mentioned for accuracy.  If you are talented in restoring these wonderful old purses, this may be the project that you are looking for.
