This Phoenix Consolidated Glass Company Line 700 vase with a stunning blue wash is a true work of art. This vintage art deco glass vase is clear glass with a blue finish on portions of the exterior. The exterior is heavily textured, with curved, smooth ribs surrounding areas of flowers. The upper rim was ground and polished at the factory. This would be a fine addition to a collection of American art glass. This is the largest of the vases manufactured for this line.

THE VASE HAS SOME FRACTURES OR CRACKS, BUT BUT I DON'T FEEL ANY SHARP EDGES. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS.

This large vase stands approximately 10.5 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of about 9.5 inches with a 5 inch diameter at the mouth and 6 inch diameter at the foot. Unpacked, this substantial piece weighs approximately 8 pounds 2.1 ounces. It was designed by Reuben Haley in 1929 and is very similar to designs by Rene' Lalique. This vase is very hard to come by, especially in this large size. It is a lovely blue color with textured flowers and clear glass arcs; it is frosted inside to give it a satin look. Absolutely stunning!

This vintage art deco Phoenix Consolidated rose bowl glass vase is unmarked. Collectors refer to this style as Vine Line 700 or Martele.
