Vintage Alfred Meakin Pitcher, “Tintern,” 6 Inches, England, Excellent Transferware

Here is a beautiful green pitcher from England by Alfred Meakin. It is 6 inches at its tallest. It shows a peaceful, outdoor scene and has a graceful, decorative handle.

From Wiki, “Alfred Meakin Ltd Pottery was a British company that produced earthenware and semi-porcelain tableware, tea sets, and toilet ware from 1875 to 1976. The company was founded by Alfred Meakin, the brother of James and George Meakin who ran a large pottery company in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.”

It is in excellent, clean condition with no cracks, chips, or grazing.

I am not a dealer, and I do not remember when or where I got this pitcher.
