These English equestrian style Ariat boots purchased new in 2013.  I wore them on maybe two occasions in California, so the worst action these have seen was a night out in San Francisco on a dry night.   These were always too big for me; Ariat used to run a bit large for my foot and I do wear an 8.5 in most brands.  I have a low volume foot with low arches and these were just to loose even when I wore thick socks and used a foam insole.  The length of the sole is 10 7/8 inches and the widest part of the sole where the ball of the foot would rest is 3 3/8 inches.  They are made of deliciously thick leather that is perfectly flexible and not heavy.  The straps actually have functioning buckles so they can be removed if you want less of an English equestrian look.  There is an Ariat logo in metal on the leather sole that speaks to the quality they were going for when these were designed.  They are in excellent condition and these days it is difficult to find a high quality boot at a reasonable price with leather uppers, leather shaft, and a leather sole.  I do have the original box; let me know if you want me to ship it to you;  with the box, here are the specs:  15 in x 15 in x 5 in, 4 lbs from zip code 95831.
