These rustic log bunk beds are hand crafted of solid pine by the Amish in NW Montana. Both ends can be used as ladders to get into the top bunk. These beds are very sturdy bunks and won't get wobbly and shaky like the cheaper versions tend to. The ladder end pieces come assembled and are heavy to handle so make sure to have help on hand to assemble them.
There is often some checking in the logs which is a natural occurrence with lodge pole pine, but it does not affect the strength and durability of the bed. It actually adds character to them.
The beds come dis-assembled and include assembly instructions, with all the hardware and slats included. Mattresses are not included. The logs are lodgepole pine which are hand-peeled for a unique rustic log cabin look.
These are shipped directly from the amish woodworking shop via a freight trucking company. The freight company will contact you to schedule delivery once they get to your area. Usually with a 24 hour notice. We will send tracking info once it leaves the shop so you can track it that way as well.
