 photo is  about 5 x 7 inches, image area just a bit smaller. this would make Ansel Adams proud as a zone system photo where there is detail in the highlights and detail in the shadows and so much more in between.

his early practice was platinotype prints, contacts, and this print is a contact print,  which is 6.5 x 5.25 inches. 

  His works are in the VIctoria and Albert Museum, The Getty collection, there are many books which he has contributed photographs to including a National Geographic story in 1920., the McCLung Museum, and you can see an early platinum print here
