This auction is for a new but out of package LEFT HAND Safariland SLS thigh or leg holster for use with the Sig P228 or Sig P229 pistol. As stated it is new but no packaging, with one of the original tags still attached to it. The holster is stamped on the back of it 6004-74 above P-228 P-229, and then underneath that it is stamped 2507. Safarilands Holster Finder feature on their website shows that 6004-74-412 is primarily for the Sig P229 in 9mm with NO rail and NO light. But obviously this holster will also fit the P226 in 9mm also, as the holster says it will on the back. There is some interchangebility to many Safariland holsters. So as mentioned earlier this is a thigh holster, the holster can actually be removed and replaced with any Safariland holster, the leg plate part which goes against the thigh, can actually be used on the right or left leg, and the same with the height adjuster which goes over the belt. The elastic straps which go around the leg are of course also fully adjustable and can of course also be used on the right or left side. Anyway, not much else to say. It’s a great holster all in all, no use, and ready to put into service. There is nothing damaged, nothing broken, nothing missing, just a new out of package holster.
