This Expanding Section of Rail is Brand New, and comes with (2) Brass Clamps - These Expanding Track Sections should be used whenever someone builds a G-scale layout, and placed every 20' to 30' - Doing this will keep your track perfectly straight! - We used this Expanding Rail on our layout that had 6,000' of track, and we were amazed at how straight it kept our rails / even after 15 years of use!
