This lovely cigarette or card case features a brown enameled bird with gold breast flying through bamboo nicely rendered in silver and gold.

The case is approximately 3" by 6" by  3/8".  The elastic band to hold the cigarettes is intact and in good condition.  Because of the presence of the elastic band and the thickness of the case, it seems likely that this was a cigarette case rather than a card case.  

The case snaps shut securely.  It is in good vintage condition.  I do not see a makers mark.
