Very few E-meters available for sale on eBay work, no matter how new they look. These E-meters are typically at least 10 years old and the batteries are shot, as well as potential problems with the charging circuit, display LEDs, etc.
This Quantum Mark VII is completely refurbished and tested, with new rechargeable batteries, and you can use it in session the minute you receive it!

Completely refurbished and tested. New rechargeable batteries. Ready for use in metered auditing.
Five can sets ranging in size from 1 ½" to 2 ½". Cans have tin coating on copper. When released in the '90s the church of Scientology made a big deal about the cutting edge process to harden the underlying copper in these cans.
The Haliburton case locking combination is set to 000. Instructions are included to reset the combo to whatever 3 digits you'd like.
Please note: The accessories do not include the Calibration Resistor Card that originally came with the E-meter.
Unfortunately these are rare items and hard to come by. The use of a calibration resistor probably originated with the original British Mark Vs and earlier, and was carried along for all subsequent E-meter models. However the Mark VIs & Mark VIIs are robust instruments, and in the years I've been working with Mark VII E-meters I've never seen one go out of calibration as determined using the card.
They do come up occasionally for auction, however, and can be purchased on eBay.
