MATERIAL:   CERAMIC / BRIGHT BOARDS, HAND PAINTED, GLAZED

DRAFT:
BERTOLD LÖFFLER (1874 - 1960) - CAN
was an Austrian historical and fresco painter, as well as a graphic artist and designer. Löffler came from a Bohemian family of cloth makers. After attending evening courses at the drawing school of the North Bohemian Trade Museum in Reichenberg/Bohemia (1888–1890), he completed the Vienna School of Applied Arts under Franz Matsch and Koloman Moser. From 1900 he worked independently, and together with Michael Powolny he founded the 'Vienna Ceramics' workshop in 1905.

Swinging round box in a bulbous shape, on a flat round base with a double-domed lid, a floral wreath at the beginning of the second curvature, a standing putto dressed in a shirt as a knob.

DESIGN:
BERTOLD LÖFFLER (1874 - 1960) - BOX
  was an Austrian history and fresco painter, as well as graphic artist and designer. Löffler came from a Bohemian family of clothiers. After attending evening classes at the drawing school of the North Bohemian Trade Museum in Reichenberg / Böhmen (1888–1890), he graduated from the Vienna School of Applied Arts with Franz Matsch and Koloman Moser. From 1900 he was self-employed, together with Michael Powolny he founded the workshop 'Vienna Ceramics' in 1905.
 

LIDDED BOX WITH CUPID

Round box in a bulbous shape, on a flat, round base with a double-arched lid, at the beginning of the second arching a circumferential wreath of flowers, a standing, shirt-clad putto as a knob.
