MG ZS Rover 400 45 Instrument Dimmer Switch Retrofit Kit (as fitted to Honda Civic)

Retrofit kit for installation of the Honda Civic instrument illumination dimmer control to the MG ZS, Rover 400 (from 1995) and Rover 45 all model years. The dimmer control was never offered by MG Rover as an option.

IMPORTANT! You must source a Honda Civic Dimmer switch, usually available elsewhere on eBay. They are available with and without headlamp wash switch.

The kit is designed to fit and replace the unused switch blank sighted to the right of the steering column, if you have the ultra rare Rover 45 V6 auto (with transmission snow mode switch) or a Rover 420 GSi with cruise control please contact me first!

Kit consists of the correct wiring sub loom fabricated using new parts and wiring colour coding as if it was factory fit. The kit includes IDC (insulation displacement connectors) and heat shrink sleeves giving the choice between crimping or soldering plus detailed fitting instructions. Comprehensive fitting instructions will also be included.

Only the instrument cluster needs to be removed to fit the kit, this will give good access to complete all the wiring installation necessary.
