Purchased in the UK (London, England) this gorgeous the clothes a vehicle for the art. An amazing ISABEL DE PEDRO 2 piece dress, a matching sweater knit top and knit skirt with matching graphic art silk screen of a dark animal print comes together as stately, elegant, sophisticated and mesmorizing in its detail work. See pictures, think black panther, an ocelot pattern, or black anaconda. Silk screen is an arduous process done in layers of one color at a time, overlaying colors, to build depth. The fabric can be seen on the inside, is a knit of mottled black, brown and metalic gold that adds a hint of sparkle. The pattern is added (don't know what order) in black, brown, a dark carbon grey which has some warmth, and the fabric is also left exposed with it's metalic gold mottled knit adding even more depth. Amazing detail, see pictures.The fabric is 78% Viscose, 22% wool is wrinkle resistant, leaving you always looking good, and makes it great for travel. The cowl neckline is 10.5" tall, folds over without a seam to line with the same fabric. Worn folding forward exposing the lining. The cowl neckline is the width of the shoulders, raglan sleeves flare and have a hidden 13" zipper that can be worn unzipped at the end of the sleeve. The body of the top is sewn and shaped with 4 sections, shaping and flares over the skirt. The matching 40" long A-line skirt has a front, offset 15" long pleated insert, adding movement. This was quality made with attention to details in Spain. Hand wash.only. Excellent Condition, NEVER WORN - I COLLECT, and I will say that this is a hard piece to list, though thoroughly enjoyed handling it. Hope it goes to someone who will appreciate this as much as I do... Would love for someone to wear this.
