This amazing book is in excellent condition. It is beautifully bound in green cloth covers featuring titles stamped in gold. It has many, many illustrations depicting architecture and historical buildings of the era as well as prominent men and pioneers. There are also biographies of these figures.
The plates used in manufacturing this 1980 reprint were made by photographing the original 1878 edition. The text has not been altered.
It is printed on Mohawk Vellum which is acid-free, alum-free and rosin-free.
