From my Boer War books collection of the 1980's and 90's this is a grand book, with a very first hand account of a vicar with his troops throughout the Boer War, including the Siege of Ladysmith.  Some lovely new approaches to the war, supporting his troops throughout, and some brilliant new photos not seen in other books - 15 in all.  The binding is good and sound apart from just one illustration page (see photo) that is loose "Bringing back the wounded".  Some very moving accounts of the wounded in the hospitals he worked in.  It first belonged to a James Henry Bywater of Clay Hill 1902.  As always I hope it finds a good appreciative home.  The price is inclusive of postage, so it is POST FREE
