Angeboten wird 1 von 24 überholten Kanalzügen eines Yamaha RM 2408 (ein Kanalzug!). Es sind die gleichen Kanäle, die auch im RM 1608 verbaut sind.

2022 wurde das gesamte Pult recapped und überprüft. Alle Kondensatoren wurden durch hochwertige Nichicon Elkos ersetzt. Die Potis wurden mit Druckluft gereinigt und anschließend mit Deoxit behandelt. Seither wurde es sauber eingelagert.

Einige der Kanalzüge wurden vor und nach der Überholung in REW gemessen und verglichen. Auf einem der Bilder ist gut erkennbar, wie sich Schmutz innerhalb des Potis auf den Betrieb auswirken kann.

Die Teile können zum Austausch defekter Kanalzüge genutzt werden oder zum Racken, um wirklich schön klingende Preamp/EQ-Kombinationen aufzubauen. Der Stromlaufplan ist vorhanden, ihm kann die Pinbelegung entnommen werden.

On offer is one of 24 overhauled channel strips of a Yamaha RM 2408. These are the same channels that are also installed in the RM 1608.

The entire console was recapped and checked in 2022. All capacitors were replaced with high-quality Nichicon electrolytic capacitors. The potentiometers were cleaned with compressed air and then treated with Deoxit. Since then it has been stored clean.

Some of the channel strips were measured and compared in REW before and after the overhaul. One of the pictures clearly shows how dirt inside the potentiometer can affect operation.

The parts can be used to replace defective channel strips or to rack to build really nice sounding preamp/EQ combinations. The circuit diagram is available and the pin assignment can be taken from it.
