Music Treasures of the World was a high-fidelity
subscription series that featured renowned orchestras, conductors, and
composers. These records were meticulously crafted to provide exceptional sound
quality.
The label released a variety of classical music albums,
showcasing symphonic classics and immortal compositions. Each LP was a treasure
trove of musical excellence.
Horace Grenell, a part owner of Abbey Record Manufacturing
Co., Inc., played a significant role in the production of these records. He
also served as a consultant and repertory director for two mail-order record
companies: Music Treasures of the World and The Children’s Record Guild.
While the primary focus was on classical composers, there
might have been other genres included in the collection. The records featured
various artists, and each side of the albums showcased musical gems.
Whether you’re a seasoned classical music enthusiast or a
curious listener, these LPs offer a delightful journey through the world of
musical treasures!
