this auction is for a factory environmental eq that comes with the first series of mcintosh amps like the mc420,mc440,mc431.
it works perfectly and if yours comes with a long one, you can't control it without the controller so it is useless.
this will plug into the amp fine and you can sell the long one. the long ones are the meq450, meq451, meq452.
