This is a vintage original sewing machine motor designed for use on universal external-mount 

sewing machines.  

Olive Green made in Japan by Janome Sewing Machine Co.  

Tag says 60 cycle, rated for 115-130V.

According to other listings for similar motors, this will fit and work correctly on most vintage

universal mount Singer machines, and will also fit and work correctly on most vintage Japanese 

machines from the fifties through the mid-seventies provided they used an external universal 

mount motor.

Clean with a few minor paint scrapes and scratches.

This was on one of my mom’s machines, hasn’t been used in years. Plugged in and it spun up immediately.
