Atom Heart Mother - The Pink Floyd

The fifth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd. It was released by Harvest on 2 October 1970 in the United Kingdom, and by Capitol on 10 October 1970 in the United States.

It was recorded at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) in London, and was the band's first album to reach number 1 in the UK, while it reached number 55 in the US, eventually going gold there.

The cover was designed by Hipgnosis, and was the band's first not to feature their name, or have photographs of them on any part of it. This was a trend that would continue on subsequent covers throughout the 1970s

Unsure if this is the 1st or 2nd pressing. It is on the Harvest label and has no EMI logo on the labels as per the later pressings. The matrix is A-1G, B-1G There are surface scratches and the cover shows signs of age. Generic inner sleeve. It has been ultrasonically cleaned and play tested. It has pops and hisses on the quieter sections but plays through without issue. The price reflects the condition and playback.

A wonderful piece of musical history and great for any collector.
