all cameras we are currently listing come from the collection of a well known dealer/collector that only dealt with cameras that functioned. they have been in storage, so some of the batteries may have drained. if we have chargers for the cameras, a battery is partially charged to test it out. as for film cameras, they are tested by pressing the shutter at different speeds and checking the film winder. light meters are checked at different apertures as well. some cameras do not include a battery, so they cannot be fully checked, but if they did not function or had any kind of issue, the previous owner would put a note attached, stating what was wrong with the camera. we are not listing those online, and have found no more than two with notes on them. we are also checking battery compartments for visible corrosion, and if found, we are not listing those that have it. we are not familiar with every type of camera and are learning and trying our best to insure we answer every question and concern as best as possible.
