Pictured here we have a beautiful original Bob St. Clair cobalt blue carnival glass toothpick holder. There is an especially lovely iridescence to this piece. It was made to celebrate America's Bicentennial of 1776-1976. This is one of those that were pressed with an error that showed Nixon as President in 1976 when in reality it was Gerald Ford. It was often referred to as the “Nixon Error.” Nixon left the White House in 1974. A Native American Chief and George Washington were also embossed on the toothpick holder. It is signed on the bottom and is in mint condition. Please enjoy the photos for the best look.
It measures 2” in diameter x 2 5/8” tall.
