Ebony Magazine from December 1946 featuring Winifred Mason.  Comes in protective plastic sleeve.

This cover features Winifred Mason. Winifred Mason was a pioneering African American jewelry designer and craftsperson renowned for her innovative designs. Her work in the mid-20th century broke new ground, incorporating unique materials and reflecting a blend of cultural influences. Mason's creativity and skill made her a trailblazer in the world of design, inspiring future generations of African American artists. She is believed to be the first commercial African-American jeweler in the United States.


Condition Details:


Cover: The cover is in good condition with edge wear, typical for a magazine of this age. There are no tears or significant damage.  Colors are bright and no significant discoloration.


Binding: The binding remains intact although split on the bottom half.


Pages: All pages are present and complete, pages have stains on the corners due to a previous spill. There is no writing or highlighting inside.


Edges: Edge wear is visible.
