This cover (includes 3 page letter)from Tonga to USA in 1938 are a rare piece of postal history that will surely delight any stamp collector. It features the iconic Tin Can Mail and Canoe Mail systems that were used to deliver mail to remote island of Niuafoou Tonga. The cover was sent from the island in a sealed tin can by a Canoe that paddled to the side where it was tossed or picked up by a net.
