I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only a new, full-size copy of the Carl Goldberg kit PLAN + FULL construction article to scratch build a 72” RC SUKHOI SU-26MX model airplane.

“The Sukhoi Design Bureau, makers of Soviet and Russian military aircraft, designed the Su-26 in 1983 for unlimited aerobatic competition. The Su-26M is made of more than 50 percent composite materials and has a special symmetrical wing section and arched cantilever titanium landing gear. It was designed to handle loads from +12 Gs to -10 Gs and is a superior aircraft for the most highly skilled pilot. It can perform spectacular gyroscopic maneuvers and quick, multiple snap rolls, and can nearly hover from its propeller. Soviet pilots flew Su 26Ms to multiple aerobatic titles.” ~ National Air and Space Museum

Note: The first version of the kit (this 1993 plan) had the landing gear mounted on the wing. In the later version of the kit the landing gear attachment point was relocated from the wing to the fuselage to make the landing gear assembly more rugged. The included 39 page Building and Flying Manual shows the gear mounted to the fuselage. This topic is discussed extensively online and with your purchase I’ll include a link to a very helpful forum thread.

If you plan to build the gear in the wing I also include a copy of an insert they put in the earlier kit when they knew the gear in the wing was a problem, but before they moved it to the fuse. You’ll not find a more thorough offering.

I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only excellent copies of the two large plan sheets for Goldberg’s SUKHOI SU-26MX.

YOU ARE PURCHASING A NICE, CLEAN, WHITE, FULL-SIZE COPY OF THE PLAN FOR THE SUKHOI SU-26MX, A FULL COPY OF THE 39 PAGE BUILDING MANUAL, + BONUS DOCUMENTATION FOLDED AND IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.

“Great quality set of plans and patterns, I’m looking forward to scratch building this Sukhoi. Wonderful gentleman to talk with as well, I bought 3 sets of plans from him and he really worked hard to get the plans I needed ready for me to buy. I will be doing more business with him.” ~ Shawn S. Warren, PA
