This is the program from the international soccer friendly match between the Baltimore Bays and Werder Bremen played July 3, 1972 at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium.  According to the great web site Fun While It Lasted, the match ended 0-0 and was played before 5,197 fans.  Oddly enough, in 1972, the Bays were not affiliated with a pro league but played as an independent team against foreign clubs touring North America, including: Mexico's Universidad, West Germany's Bremen and Stuttgart, Brazil's Campo Grande and Madureira, Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv, England's Birmingham City, Moscow Dynamo and Aberdeen of Scotland.  The Bays won 3, lost 4 and tied 2 against their visitors.

The program has 24 pages and includes profiles of Werder Bremen stars and a team photo.  It also has feature stories on Bays President Jim Karvellas, Coach Joe Speca and players Asher Welch, Hank Kazmierski, Roy Wilner and a photo page of the Bays in action against Aberdeen.
