To craft this extraordinary and one-of-a-kind decorative accent to display on your favorite spot, Guatemala's Ricardo Gonzalez first bends a stainless steel spoon into the desired shape. Then he adds a coat of white acrylic paint for the base and goes through the freehand painting process next, for which he uses a mixture of oil paints and flaxseed oil. Finally, he finishes it with a coat of resin that guarantees durability. In this case, he painted a scene from his home town Antigua.

Guatemalan artist Ricardo González was born in 1981 in Antigua Guatemala. "Ever since I was little, I have liked to draw and paint. I remember my mother had a talent for crafts, which partly inspired me to start. At university I took some courses that were related to art. While I was studying, I kept thinking about painting and pursuing my dreams of creating works of art. Each painting I create reflects the beauty, culture, and traditions of Guatemala."

This is a unique opportunity to own an original work of art by a respected Guatemalan artist.
