Die Kamera eignet sich hervorragend für Infrarotaufnahmen. Sie ist für normale Aufnahmezwecke nicht geeignet und ist auch keine Wärmebildkamera.
Anders als eine normale Digitalkamera nimmt diese Kamera nicht nur sichtbares Licht auf sondern auch Infrarot und Ultraviolett. Über entsprechende Filter kann man festlegen, welchen Spektralbereich man davon erfassen möchte. Mit einem Filter, das nur Infrarot durchlässt, wird sie zu einer Infrarotkamera. Auch innerhalb des Infrarotbereichs lässt sich der aufgenommene Spektralbereich durch entsprechende Filter individuell festlegen. Diese Kamera ist dadurch flexibler einsetzbar als eine Infrarotkamera mit fest eingebautem Filter.
Infrarotfilter können zwar auch mit normalen Digitalkameras verwendet werde, aber da normale Kameras Infrarot weitestgehend sperren, führt dies zu einem extremen Lichtverlust, der die Verwendung eines Stativs obligatorisch macht. Das ist bei dieser Kamera anders, sie kann wie eine normale Digitalkamera problemlos aus der Hand verwendet werden.
Die Fotogalerie zeigt Beispielaufnahmen, die ich mit einem 760 nm Filter und dem Fujinon XF 10-24 mit dieser Kamera aufgenommen habe. Man kann mit ihr auch farbverfremdete Farbbilder aufnehmen. Berücksichtigen Sie aber bitte, dass einige Zooms einen Hot Spot aufweisen können - ein blendunabhängiger heller Bereich in der Bildmitte. Mit Festbrennweiten sind Sie weitestgehend auf der sicheren Seite. Da ich die Kamera mit einigen Objektiven geprüft habe, können Sie mich auch gern fragen, ob ich Informationen zu Ihrem Objektiv habe.
Die Kamera ist mechanisch und optisch in sehr gutem Zustand mit geringen Gebrauchsspuren. Bisher wurden mit der Kamera weniger als 1700 Bilder aufgenommen. Sie funktioniert einwandfrei und liefert auch die Resultate, die man von einer solchen Kamera erwartet. Der Sensor ist sauber (siehe drittletztes Bild).
Ich biete die Kamera zusammen mit dem optisch hervorragenden Fujinon XF 1,4/35 an. Es hat nur geringe Gebrauchsspuren, etwas deutlichere vorn an der Gegenlichtblende. Optisch und mechanisch ist es einwandfrei. Dieses Objektiv hat keinen Hot-Spot, so dass man damit uneingeschränkt arbeiten kann. Da ich mich von meinem Fuji X System trenne, biete ich in anderen Angeboten weitere Fujinon Festbrennweiten und auch das oben genannte Zoom an, die mit dieser Kamera eingesetzt werden können.
Die Kamera kommt mit dem XF 1,4/35, einem 760 nm Infrarotfilter, Akku, Ladegerät und Arca-Swiss kompatiblem L-Winkel. Der daran angebaute Griff verbessert die Handhabung der Kamera, lässt sich aber ebenso wie der vertikale Ansatz abnehmen.

This is a full spectrum converted camera.
The camera is ideal for infrared photography. It is not suitable for normal recording purposes and is not a thermal imaging camera.
Unlike a normal digital camera, this camera not only records visible light but also infrared and ultraviolet. Appropriate filters can be used to determine which spectral range you want to capture. With a filter that only allows infrared to pass through, it becomes an infrared camera. Even within the infrared range, the recorded spectral range can be individually defined using appropriate filters. This camera can therefore be used more flexibly than an infrared camera with a fixed filter.
Infrared filters can also be used with normal digital cameras, but as normal cameras largely block infrared, this leads to an extreme loss of light, which makes the use of a tripod obligatory. This is not the case with this camera, which can be used hand-held like a normal digital camera without any problems.
The photo gallery shows sample shots that I took with this camera using a 760 nm filter and the Fujinon XF 10-24. It can also be used to take colour alienated colour pictures. However, please bear in mind that some zooms can have a hot spot - a glare-independent bright area in the centre of the image. With fixed focal lengths you are largely on the safe side. As I have tested the camera with several lenses, you can also ask me if I have any information on your lens.
The camera is mechanically and optically in very good condition with minor signs of use. Less than 1700 pictures have been taken with the camera so far. It works perfectly and delivers the results you would expect from such a camera. The sensor is clean (see third last picture).
I am offering the camera together with the optically excellent Fujinon XF 1.4/35. It has only minor signs of use, somewhat more obvious on the front of the lens hood. Optically and mechanically it is flawless. This lens has no hot-spot, so you can work with it without restrictions. As I am parting with my Fuji X system, I am offering other Fujinon fixed focal lengths and also the zoom mentioned above in other offers, which can be used with this camera.
The camera comes with the XF 1.4/35, a 760 nm infrared filter, battery, charger and Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket. The attached handle improves the handling of the camera, but can also be removed, as can the vertical attachment.
