Blue John Specimen from Derbyshire
This is a superb example of Blue John Fluorite from Derbyshire, from old stock. The piece shows the classic blue-purple and yellow from which Blue John derives its name. The piece has several well defined dark purple Fluorite crystals up to 12mm on the longest edge.
The piece weighs 72g and measures approx 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5cm, and is best viewed under magnification to see the full detail (All weights and measures are approximate)
It is a beautiful piece which would appeal equally to collectors or to display in the home
