Rough, but rare and early! Paper label solder seamed "Varnishes and Japans" can. Top of handle is embossed "Boston Varnish". Label may clean up some more. Paper is nice and solid, not flaking or separating from the can. Condition and dimensions shown in photos. Displays well and is guaranteed old/original.
