Petite Naja Choker Necklace by Sundance Artist Adrienne Teeguarden

Sterling Silver

I have had recent requests for choker necklaces with a smaller Naja pendant.

I designed this one to be easy to wear and contemporary in style.

This Naja was designed many years ago and I updated it with my vintage turquoise stones, natural rubies, Sugilite, and Malachite as accents.

The closure is my signature chain wrap design.

I use the best stringing wire there is to be sure that my pieces last for a very long time.

HIGH GRADE NATURAL TURQUOISE

I purchased a large quantity of turquoise cabochons in 2004 for my concho belts that Sundance Catalog contracted me to create for them.

These are the remaining stones in my collection from that time.

The stones have increased in value by 20% a year since then.

I am finally running low on my collection of these beautiful stones.

I did save some of the best for last :) but when they are gone, they are gone :(

I have loved making these for my eBay customers.

Thank you for your support!

Note: This is not endangered coral

*Spring Forward* with this striking Bamboo *Deep Sea* Coral Cuff
Accented with vintage natural turquoise and ruby beads.
One Size fits all with a sterling silver slide on supple deer leather.

Bamboo coral, family Isididae, is a family of mostly deep-sea coral of the phylum Cnidaria. It is a commonly recognized inhabitant of the deep sea, due to the clearly articulated skeletons of the species. These organisms may be an important environmental indicator in the study of long term climate change, as some specimens of bamboo coral have been discovered that are 4,000 years old!
NOAA have discovered a hidden forest of Bambo Coral, abundant and non-endangered, 7,500 feet deep at the bottom of the ocean in the Gulf of Mexico.
Some of it is as old as 4,000 years!
The Coral in this cuff came from an Estate acquisition from the early 1970's. They were packed away for almost 50 years!

I worked with Sundance Catalog for a collection of Concho Belts that sold out and are now coveted for their timeless style and quality.

I started making these Coral bracelets a couple of years ago I've been working on improving the design so that they are easy to wear, one size fits most and that they're beautiful!  The coral I use in them is bamboo Coral from the deep sea. It is not an endangered Coral. Matter of fact bamboo Coral is abundant on the bottom of the ocean I use the highest quality wire there is for jewelry making so that this little bracelet will last for years. The accent stones I use I have collected over the years and they work beautifully together with the Coral I also use sterling silver and or gold fill for my findings and pig skin for the leather, so my materials are the highest quality.

EACH STONE IS HAND PICKED FOR THE PIECE

AND IS NATURAL & UNIQUE

DID YOU KNOW...

In many cultures of the Old and New  Worlds, this gemstone has been esteemed for thousands of years. The  oldest evidence for this claim was found in Egypt, where grave  furnishings with turquoise inlay were discovered, dating from  approximately 3000 B.C.  Turquoise is a copper aluminum phosphate with a  hardness of 6, i.e. considerably softer than quartz. In Nature, it occurs in the whole range of hues from sky blue to grey-green, and it is mostly found in places where there is a high concentration of copper in the soil.

The blue color is created by copper, the green by bivalent iron and a certain amount of chrome. Often, the material has veins running through it, which are brown, light grey or black depending on where it was found. These lively, more or less irregular patterns are known as 'turquoise matrix'. The crystals are microscopically small and can hardly ever be recognized with the naked eye. As a rule, turquoise occurs as a filling in veins or crevices, or in the form of nuggets. The most well-known deposits are in the USA, Mexico, Israel, and China. Some the most coveted turquoises, in a splendid light blue, come from deposits in the north of Iran.

I love turquoise with a lot of matrix with blue & green hues! Beautiful!!
