Another fantastic estate find offered up for auction at a bargain price.      you are bidding on a rather splendid Victorian wooden shoe snuff box in good condition ( see report for minor issues).     this fabulous snuff box shoe measures 3.5" and its dated 1856 on the lid cover part.   it has 2 thin bands of brass decoration and its even been decorated underneath which is a sure sign of its quality.   the wooden has a lovely colour / patina which you only get through years of handling and use.    it really is a lovely tactile wooden snuff box and a fabulous piece of English made antique Treen.      please see pics for a much better look and I am sure you will agree.
