19th Century Spaniel Dog Card Letter Holder Double Headed Eagle Russian French ?

A beautiful letter card holder spaniel dog.

It  measures 11.5 cm height by 10 cm length and 6 cm depth.

There is a hallmark that portrays a double headed eagle which looks similar to the Fabergé symbol. These letter holders were also made in France in the 19th century.

The dog featured a sprung jaw that allows to hold letters / cards
