This is a collection of six Dance Suites from the Rococo period that are fun to play and easy to listen to. They are ideal for reading as well as performance. The duets also offer an opportunity for introduction to or practice with ornamentation and improvised embellishment. There are 29 pages of music in this book, and it is printed on heavy 67 weight paper and plastic comb bound for a quality publication.
At the request of a customer, I arranged these for flute and Bb trumpet. The flute part goes to a high G, and the trumpet part to a G above the staff. Because of the instrumentation, there is often a one octave displacement from the original between the flute and trumpet parts, but they are fun to play!

They are written for unspecified instruments. Keys have been changed to fit this flute and trumpet combination better and to add variety. They are of medium difficulty, although some of the dance movements are easier, and offer plenty of room for ornamentation and improvised embellishment as was the common practice of the period.
