• The main purpose of such car heater is to slowly defrost the windscreen. In order to protect the appliance and vehicles electrics, plug-in heaters have been restricted to 150w hence it will take longer to defrost.
• Although this is one of the far better 12v car heater in the market that connects through the cigarette lighter but it is NOT designed to be a replacement for the car heater. The main purpose is to slowly defrost the windscreen and to enhance the heating system of a car.
• The maximum you can plug in most car cigarette lighter socket is 150w or 200w max. For this reason, the heat and blow has to be restricted to meet the specification as excess power via the lighter socket can damage the electrics. This is why 12v plug in car heaters will be lot less powerful than the original car heater and fan. After testing other models in this category we found this one to be better than many others.
