Crucible Dish/Cup is a large capacity melting crucible with a 40 T.Oz./1200 Grams 100cc capacity, a heavy duty crucible with a thick base and wall thickness.

Crucible comes with holder. Holder has a wooden handle is designed to hold the crucible from the outer diameter, specifically made for this diameter, fastens on and is secured with wing nut screw.

Crucible can be used for melting and pouring Gold, Bronze and Silver, for scrap metals as well as pouring metal in vacuum assist castings machine. Crucible is made of fused Silica "A-1 TOP Quality" , withstands temperatures up to 2500°F/1,371°C . Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps extend the life of the crucible.
