A Grand Tour picture agate large lozenge or cartouche probably taken from the top of a snuff  or pill box or perhaps from a brooch.  Has a very interesting grain - overall brown cast with bevelled edge.  Good condition - has a tiny 1mm flake at the edge.  Measures 2 1/2" x 1 7/8".  Please view our other auctions for more agate pieces from a collection.
