LearCNC Stainless Steel Hobbed Bolt Kit Features:

 - A very slight guide groove in the hobbed bolt tooth profile enforces optimal filament grip and eliminates the need for a fancy grooved idle bearing.
 - Stainless Steel provides for a higher quality product with tighter precision and superior corrosion resistance when compared with cheaper plated steels.
 - Extensively tested on our production machines which run extended print times with 3mm filaments.

Note: The smaller tooth profile M5 hobbing should in theory work well with 1.75mm filaments, however we are yet to test this in practice. If you do wish to try out one of our bolts on your 1.75mm fed machine then please contact us or leave a note on checkout so we can monitor your progress and update official support for 1.75mm filament.

UPDATE: After numerous positive customer reports and our own in-house testing, we are happy to report that 1.75mm filament is now officially supported for the M5 tooth profile.

   3 x 304 Stainless Steel M8 Washers
   2 x 304 Stainless Steel M8 Nuts (We can supply with a single M8 Nyloc instead, but please see tips below)

Ben's Tips:
 - I recommend securing the LearCNC hobbed bolt in your wades extruder with two nuts in place of a single Nyloc. Simply thread the first nut on until there is no lateral movement of the bolt(Do not over tighten), then thread the second nut up to the first and with two spanners hold the first nut still and tighten the second. The supplied Stainless Steel nuts will bite against each other and will not come loose during normal printer operation and if(when) you need to dismantle the extruder, will be easy to remove unlike a Nyloc which is a complete pain to remove as it is designed to not come off easily.
