10 brand new pieces of 2% Ceriated Tungsten. This tungsten is 1/16” diameter and 7” long. It has a grey tip and meets ANSI/AWS spec A5.12 EWCe-2. It is identical to orange 2% Ceritated Tungsten except for the color of the tip. Certification is available on request. This is first quality tungsten and is an excellent substitute for 2% thoriated tungsten. 2% Ceriated Tungsten is generally used with transformer based square wave or sine wave TIG welding machines in the DC mode for welding steel, stainless steel and 4130 tubing. HTP’s part number is TC2-7332. This tungsten is suitable for use in all tig welders. A few examples are the Miller Econotig, Syncrowave 180, 200 and 250, Hobart Tigmate and Lincoln Precision Tig 175, 185, 255 and 275 welders.
This tungsten is also excellent for use in Inverter machines for welding both AC and DC. Some examples are the HTP Invertig 201, 160DC, 130 DCHF, 130 DCL, Miller Dynasty 200SD and 200DX, and the Lincoln V205-T. These are just a few examples, but this tungsten will work in all tig welders.
