Vacfoil®...The ultimate vacuum sealer bags.

Food grade, heavy duty, 7 mil thick, WITH A FOIL LAYER!

This listing is for fifty (50) one gallon size, 10"x14" bags.

This is a bag that we developed, designed and are the first to market. It is a embossed (textured air channels on the inside which allow the air to be pulled out) Nylon vacuum sealer bag and a long term food storage Mylar foil bag combined into one bag. Unlike regular Mylar Food storage bags which are smooth on the inside, these should work with any home type vacuum sealer such as the Food Saver machine for example. *(Please see the note at the bottom of this listing before purchasing for your FoodSaver machine!)

What is the advantage of the foil layer? Well...no matter how thick a plastic bag is, oxygen will eventually make it through because plastic is a poor long term vapor barrier. This is true of even a five gallon bucket. That is why folks who store up buckets of emergency food for long term will line the bucket with a thin Mylar foil bag. The foil layer in the bag is a vapor block and can add years to the storage life of the product. Think of a bag with a foil layer as a flexible metal can.

Because of the foil layer, you cannot see through these bags as you can the 100% plastic bags, but that is actually a good thing. One of the big enemies of long term storage is light and unlike every other clear vacuum bag out there, our bag not only blocks air but it also blocks light.

We deal in Mylar foil bags on a huge scale and we are selling these in smaller quantities for the same price per bag as our large wholesale orders.

Shipping is a flat rate envelope with a charge of $5.50 for the first lot of

50 bags and $2.00 for each additional lot purchased.

*(Note) We have found that because of the thickness of these bags, some of the cheaper vacuum sealer units may have trouble getting a good seal on them because the heat bars do not get hot enough. It may be necessary to seal twice back to back to get a good seal with some units. We have a Cabela's Pro series machine and the bags work great with it. We also tried a cheap FoodSaver and that is where we found that we had to cycle it twice to get a good seal. Pretty much any more heavy duty or commercial machine should work fine. It is the cheap units that you may find at Walmart for example that we had a little trouble with.

Thank you!
