Beautiful edition of 1939 of this collection of this famous work written by the italian writer, poet, dramawriter, politician and journalist Gabriele D'Annunzio (1863-1938). Published for the first time in 1895 1895 it belongs to the series "I romanzi del giglio"and is the first novel clearly influenced by the theory of Superman of Nietzsche.Half leather coeval cover with golden title and decorations in the spine.
