Antique 1870s lot of 14 J LAURENT ( not sure if it is Juan or Jean) Spain Albumen Photo Print Large Scale RARE -Very nice collection of 14 of the rarer oversized prints. The larger mattes are a little less than 19x14" and the albumen photos on the prints are in the 13x9.75" range. They are not all the exact same size so some are a quarter inch more or less in either direction and the smaller mattes (only 3 are 17x12.5 and 16x14". The three smaller ones are religious themed. the larger scale prints took place in either Granada or Sevilla - 5 are SEvilla and 6 Granada images. Cardboard mattes with some waves, ripples and curves as well some discoloration , fading, smudging. Some of them have tears and slits and there are a few with some specific areas of heavy wear and tear to the matte edges. The photos have some fading and discoloration with some scuffs or smudges and few small spots of print / photo loss but I do not see many major flaws to the albumens themselves so they can certainly be framed as is or rematted. All 14 photos are titled along the bottom and have the photo's title J. Laurent es propiedad y cia madrid depose to the right of the number and title. - Please see pics for best judgement of condition.
