The "Ott Grill Lifter", US Patent 8915526, 12/23/2014, is "handmade in the USA", by me, from 1/4" Stainless Steel and can be used with most charcoal grills such as the Big Green Egg, PRIMO, Kamado, and Weber Charcoal grills. 

It works with cooking grids such as the Big Green Egg Cast Iron cooking grid and most other types. 

You can use it to remove the dirty cooking grate in order to add or remove charcoal. Just lift the cooking grate and set it on the edge of a table or side grill shelf. Use the loop in the handle to hang from a hook while not in use.
