Midcentury PEPE MENDOZA Mexican Modernism Brass Malachite Necklace PENDANT
Wonderful and rarely seen showy and oversize jewelry necklace pendant, 5.75” wide and 5” tall, 6 1/8” tall with brass hook of cast brass/bronze and malachite inlay. Dating to the 1950s and from the renowned foundry and studios of Mexican Modernist artist Pepe Mendoza. Mendoza’s artworks have generated an avid following of blue chip collectors worldwide. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve.
Condition is excellent overall showing minor age scuffing and no damage, repairs, or missing bits.
