When using shrink tubing.It has a 2 to 1 shrink rate ( Shrinks to 50% of it's original size.) You can use a hot air gun.But for use in fishing,I always shrink it by using boiling water.Just slip it over your hook eye/crimp or 1st swivel eye & then lay it in a tray & pour boiling water over the rig or just dip each end in a cup full of boiling water.It then shrinks around the join etc.Providing a neat & protected covering over your join.     As with all my listings I will send them to you within 24 hours of cleared payment securely wrapped by Royal Mail.
